Importers must apply for permission at Thai FDA checkpoint at ports of entry before or during the time of entry. In case importers fail to provide necessary documents, products may be detained upon entry.

The documents required are;

1) Medical device importation form

2) Importer’s letter providing detailed information on importation and confirming that the imported product will be re-exported within 30 days after the exhibition

3) Confirmation letter from exhibition’s organizer

4) Description of the products

5) Invoice and air waybill / bill of lading

6) Letter of power of attorney
